This guide outlines the steps to launch and monitor an Optimization Scan within the application's SmartClean Dashboard.

1. Starting the Application and Navigating to the Dashboard
- Click the application's icon in your taskbar to launch it.
- Select the "Open" icon to access the main Dashboard.
- Proceed to the SmartClean Dashboard.
2. Initiating the Scan
- In the Accessory View, select “Scan Now” to start the Optimization Scan.
3. Monitoring the Scan
- A notification message will appear in the Content View and the top right of the Dashboard, confirming the app is awaiting scan results.
- An active counter will show the number of files currently being checked.
- In the View Section, you have the option to Hide or Cancel the running scan.
- Note: Scan duration varies based on the file count and may take a few minutes.
4. Reviewing Scan Results
- Once the scan completes, the Content View will update with the status of your Mac.
5. Addressing Detected Issues
- If Threats are Detected:
- The threat will be displayed at the top of your Content View
- In the Accessory View, the SmartClean setting includes a quick access tile for viewing and managing identified threats.
- For High Memory Usage and Running Slow Notifications:
- You can click “View Apps” in the High Memory usage widget within the Accessory View.
Alternatively, navigate to the CPU and RAM settings located in the Content View section.
