FireWall: Manage Network Rules

This guide outlines how to view, create, edit, and remove Network Rules within the Firewall Main Dashboard.

These steps use Intego ONE Application version 1.3.2. Please note that the interface and specific steps may appear differently in newer versions.

Accessing Network Rules Settings

  1. Navigate to the Firewall Main Dashboard.
  2. Select "Network Rules" in the Content View Section.
    • This section displays a complete list of all existing Network Traffic control rules, showing the application/domain and the associated action (Allow, Ask, Deny).

Creating a New Rule

To establish a Network Firewall rule, click the (+) icon and configure the specific behavior for your intended domain or application. For comprehensive instructions, please refer to Creating a New Rule.

Editing an Existing Rule

  1. Select the desired rule from the list in the Content View Section.
  2. To make a quick action change:
    • Click the three vertical dots next to the rule (visible on hover or in the upper right corner of the Content View). 
    • Select the new action from the drop-down menu: Allow, Ask, or Deny.
  3. To modify all rule settings:
    • Click the three horizontal dots (...) and select "edit".
    • Make the necessary modifications and click "Save".

Removing an Existing Rule

  1. Select the desired rule from the list in the Content View Section.
  2. Choose the "Remove" option.
    • Alternatively, click the three horizontal dots and select "Remove 1 rule".
  3. Confirm the action by selecting "Remove" in the pop-up window.
  4. The rule will be immediately removed from the Traffic Control Settings list.
