If a scheduled scan doesn’t run, check the schedule and create it again. Try each step in order.
❶ Check the scan schedule
- Open Intego ONE and go to Antivirus > Scheduled Scans. Review the schedule and confirm the day(s), time, and scan type are set correctly.
- If everything looks correct, delete the schedule and create it again.
- Make sure Intego ONE can open when you log in. Go to System Settings > General > Login Items and check that Intego ONE is allowed.
- Keep your Mac awake at the next scheduled time, then check the scan history to see whether the scan ran.
| Tip — If the scan is scheduled for a time when your Mac is usually asleep, turn on Wake for network access under System Settings > Battery > Options. On older macOS versions, you’ll find this setting under Energy Saver. |
➋ Update Intego ONE
- Go to Settings > General and select Check for updates manually.
- If an update is available, install it.
- Wait for the next scheduled scan, then check the scan history to see whether it ran.
➌ Force quit and restart
- Select Intego ONE > Quit Intego ONE from the menu bar.
- If the app doesn’t respond, press Command + Option + Esc, select Intego ONE, then select Force Quit.
- Select Apple menu > Restart.
- After your Mac restarts, open Intego ONE again.
- Wait until the next scheduled scan time, then check your scan history to confirm that the scan ran.
➍ Uninstall and reinstall Intego ONE
- Open Intego ONE and select Help > Uninstall.
- Follow the instructions to remove the app.
- Sign in to My Account, open Overview, and select Download.
- Install Intego ONE and set up your scheduled scan again.
- Check the scan history after the next scheduled time to confirm that it ran.
