The Antivirus scanner can check an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when you connect it to a Mac running Intego ONE. The scan runs from the Mac, not on the iOS device itself.
❶ Connect your device and start a Custom Scan
- Connect the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac with a cable.
- Open Intego ONE and go to the Antivirus section.
- Select Custom Scan.
- Select the connected iOS device, then select Open.
➋ Monitor progress and review results
Intego ONE shows the scan progress and the number of files checked. You can also hide or cancel the scan while it runs.
When the scan finishes, the dashboard will display the status of your device, any detected threats, and recommended next steps.
Understand the limitation
Intego ONE can scan your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and alert you if it finds a suspicious file. It can’t remove the file, so you’ll need to delete it directly from the device.
