How to Change VPN Protocol

These steps use Intego ONE Application version 1.0.2. Please note that the interface and specific steps may appear differently in newer versions.

Follow these steps to modify the protocol used by the ONE application:

1. Launch ONE: Click the application's icon in your taskbar.
2. Access the Dashboard: Select the "Open" icon to navigate to the main dashboard.
3. Go to VPN Dashboard: Proceed to the VPN Dashboard section.
4. Disconnect: Ensure you are Disconnected from the VPN.
5. Open Protocol Settings: In the Content View, click on the “VPN Protocol” setting.
6. Select a Protocol: Choose one of the following options:
   • Automatic: The system automatically selects the most suitable protocol for your current network.
   • Lightway - UDP: Offers optimal Speed and security, including post-quantum protection.
   • Lightway - TCP: Provides more reliability on specific networks. It is slower than the UDP option but also includes post-quantum protection.
7. Reconnect: Once your selection is made, you can reconnect to the VPN.
